Social Norms Conference 2025

From April 30 to May 3, this year's Social Norms Conference on Social Norms Comparison, Conflict, and Change held place at at Centro Stefano Franscini (CSF), Monte Verita, Ascona. It was organized by Jörg Rössel, University of Zurich, and Andreas Diekmann, University of Leipzig & ETH Zurich. 

The researchers spent four inspiring days in sunny Ticino with a program full of insightful presentations and fruitful discussions. More information on the conference, the program, and picuters can be found on the conference website.

Prof. Dr. Jörg Rössel teaches and researches at the Departement of Sociology since 2008 as an  Ordinarius of Sociology. His research interests are Sociological Theory, Empirical Cultural Sociology, Social Stratification, Political Sociology, and Comparative Historical Sociology.

About

Prof. em. Dr. Andreas Diekmann is Professor emeritus of ETH Zürich, Seniorprofessor at the University of Leipzig, and a lecturer at the University of Zurich. His research and teaching focuses on Cooperation in social dilemmas and experimental game theory, Sociology of environment and population, and Methods of empirical social research.
