Welcome Andrea Ghisletta

We are happy to welcome Dr. Andrea Ghisletta as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology.

Andrea joined the team at the Swiss Job Market Monitor  (SJMM) this month.

His research leverages SJMM’s rich job vacancy dataset to study labor market dynamics. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Basel, where he is also a Research Fellow at the Chair of Economics and Applied Econometrics.

Andrea’s work applies quasi-experimental methods to examine societal questions, such as the consequences of incarceration and the role of self-interest in voting behavior. More information is available at https://sites.google.com/view/andreaghisletta.
