💡 Public talks at SUZ: Beate Völker on «Dropping out, coming back? On the dynamics of relationships over time.»

Join us for a public talk by Beate Völker, scientific director of the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement.

Every semester, our Department hosts a series of public talks (colloquiums) on the topic of «Current Sociological Research» with local researchers and invited guest speakers. While these talks are mandatory for our Master's degree students, any interested members of the general public are welcome to attend - no registration necessary.

Guest speaker: Prof. Dr. Beate Völker, scientific director of the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement (NSCR).

Beate Völker is a sociologist whose research centers on social networks and social cohesion, with a strong focus on how relationships form, persist, and dissolve over time.
