💡 Public talks at SUZ: Ala Alrababah on «Claiming Home After War: Public Attitudes Toward Refugee Return and Property Rights in Post-Conflict Syria.»

Join us for a public talk by Ala Alrababah, political scientist who specializes on the topics of migration and political violence from Bocconi University.

Every semester, our Department hosts a series of public talks (colloquiums) on the topic of «Current Sociological Research» with local researchers and invited guest speakers. While these talks are mandatory for our Master's degree students, any interested members of the general public are welcome to attend - no registration necessary.

Guest speaker: Prof. Dr. Ala Alrababah, Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University, Milan.

Ala Alrababah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University and an associate editor of Migration Studies. His primary research focuses on topics related to authoritarian media, political violence, and immigrants and refugees with a special focus on the Middle East.
