Micol is a postdoctoral researcher in Professor Per Block's team at the Department of Sociology, University of Zurich (UZH), working on an SNF-funded project on the feminisation of international migration (project details). Micol's research lies at the intersection of sociology, demography, and migration studies. She specialises in using computational methods and innovative data sources to address migration questions. Before joining the department, Micol completed a DPhil in Sociology at Nuffield College, University of Oxford, and the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany.
