Prof. Dr. Eldad Davidov, born in 1971, was associate professor of Sociology at the University of Zurich between September 2009 and December 2016. He has been a full professor of Methods of Empirical Social Research at the University of Cologne since October 2016 and a Professor ad Personam at the University of Zurich. He is co-director of the University Research Priority Program “Social Networks”. Eldad Davidov was president of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) between 2015 and 2017. His research interests concentrate on quantitative methods and empirical social research, cross-cultural comparisons, structural equation modeling, longitudinal survey data, attitudes and values, and rational choice theories.
